Charities we supported during 2011...





Golf has recently been on the curriculum for pupils at Henry Hinde School. They were invited to Draycote Hotel near Thurlaston to learn how to play golf. Steve Postlethwaite - Club Captain at Whitefields Golf Club said " We have so much support from the community, we wanted to give some back to them. We decided to work with the local primary schools and invite the pupils to come along for ten weeks to have a go at playing"
At the end of the ten weeks of lessons, the 12 youngsters were given awards for their various skills including who could hit the ball furthest.

Our course and driving range is open to members of the public.
Golf is a marvelous game that can be played by people from all ages. It is possible to see a grandad and grandchild with grandma and mum or dad having a round together. Also there is no right or wrong time/age to start playing. If you fancy to have a go, please let us know so that we can help you and introduce you to The GOLF -best game ever played- FREE of charge.
